@Milanese Custom Shoes "Messina"
Via A.Volta 5 Milan
The second pair from Milan, Messina is a tiny cobbler and known for only few people living outside of Italy. The house style is squared toe likened to a duck's beak and the shape looks like 1950's Tuczeks in London according to the book "Style and the man" written by Alan Flusser. Messina has been supported for about thirty four years by Italian Gentlemen. However, Maestro Gaetano Messina who is the present master can speak English very little so it is necessary to look for someone who can translate Maestro's talk and the client's expectations. Or, It is better adviseable to ask his son who can speak English better. Maestro Messina was well traind at the same foreman as famous Roman custom shoemaker GATTO's workman.
